20 For 2020

Lofty idealistic yearly goals are something that I’ve stopped setting myself. Last year I decided to have monthly goals instead and it worked so much better at not only keeping me motivated throughout the year but having goals that ebbed and flowed with my life rather than working against me. Even though I’ve got smaller goals to work on throughout the next twelve months there are some things that I know I want to work towards throughout 2020 and they look a little something like this.

  • Buy more second hand items.

  • Consume more varied content.

  • Discover new places to explore with Josie and Edie.

  • Minimise our plastic use as much as possible

  • Try and explore more of the UK.

  • Push myself to be more sociable and meet new people.

  • Keep on trying to run 5k and do an unassisted pull up.

  • Drive on the motorway more.

  • Sort out my digital file storage properly and buy a new external hard-drive.

  • Propagate some of my houseplants.

  • Get more experimental with what we eat and try to aim more towards a plant based diet.

  • Prioritise sleep over scrolling.

  • Look at my hair more and book in regular trims.

  • Discover new podcasts.

  • Watch more films.

  • Challenge the way I spend my money and save as much as I can.

  • Be braver on Instagram.

  • Get better at texting back.

  • Take photographs for fun more.

  • Continue to only drink coffee once at mid-day.
