5 Posts To Read This Weekend

Rounding up my most loved posts from the past month or so has become one of my favourite things to do on this blog. So here are 5 of my most loved pieces of content from the blogging world.

SCARY THINGS MIGHT JUST TURN OUT TO BE THE BEST

This isn't the first time that I've featured Sense & Sensibility in one of these roundup posts but the content that Candice produces is always fantastic. In her most recent post, she talks a lot about being alone and how difficult it can be to navigate the world of loneliness but how beneficial it can be in the long run. It took me a long time to come to the realisation that I really enjoy my own company and being able to have my schedule to myself 80% of the year is something that I've grown so much from.

"50 THINGS TO TEACH YOUR DAUGHTERS": AN EDIT

Recently there was an article released called '50 Things I Want To Teach My Daughter'. And one of my favourite people online Rachel made a response post to it and I don't think I've ever agreed so much with an online piece of writing so much and the edits that she made to the original were fantastic. I feel like there isn't much I can say about this post apart from you just have to give it a read.

4 PLACES TO EXPLORE NEAR GULF SHORES

Kelsey's blog is fast becoming my absolute favourite to read and just generally gaze at. She produces incredible content that is always beautifully shot and her latest post on 'Places To Explore Near Gulf Shores' is no exception. Now I'm not planning a trip to the Gulf Shores anytime soon but there was something so beautiful about this post. I'm not someone who is desperate to travel but there is something about travel content that always inspires me so much within my own work.

WORLD CITIZEN

In June the UK decided to leave the EU and it made my heart feel heavy for weeks. It's something that I feel so passionately about but there is no way I could put it into something that made sense for a post. Carrie summed up exactly how I feel about the future of our country in this post. Politics are an incredibly difficult subject to broach in general but even more so in the online world and I think she did this so delicately. Since Brexit, I know like most people who voted to remain that I've felt incredibly anxious about the future but it's so important to try and be open minded about it and what will come and just be kind to each other.

PRETTY PACKAGING

To finish up this round up is this beautiful post from Tenneil. Who fun fact is the first person to ever comment on my blog and has been someone that I've been internet pals with ever since 2012. I'm someone who absolutely adores beautifully packaged products and it excites me greatly when I see a post like this pop up on my feed. I absolutely love the majority of the products that Tenneil mentioned in this post. So if you're a lover of great beauty products and dreamy luxe packaging then this post is guaranteed to make your materialistic heart sing.
